(Oro Valley, AZ) – Artists & Makers Studios in Oro Valley is pleased to announce the new gallery exhibitions featuring local artists Fatima Olea, Diana Ptaszynski, “Inktuce,” Portia Cooper and various art students from Pima Community College — on display from November 6th, 2021 through November 20th, 2021. This exhibit celebrates a wide range of styles and personalities displayed through artworks by a diverse collection of artists. Drawing, painting, digital art, and illustration are all featured in this unique exhibit that will feature everything from paintings to stickers – something for everyone!

Fatima Olea is an Illustrator and Visual artist from Tucson, AZ. She works on a variety of media which include the creation of logos, characters, commissioned pet portraits and custom paintings on wine glasses and mugs. She has participated in more than 11 collective art exhibits outside the country and some of her paintings have been published in art magazines such as “Suisun Valley Review, and Creative Quarterly”. Fatima has also taken several painting workshops around the world with artists such as Omar Ortiz, Shana Levenson and Patricia Guzman. She is very passionate about teaching and inspiring people to develop their creative skills.

Influenced by her inner child, Diana Ptaszynski was a ceramic artist for 10+ years creating whimsical ceramic beads, figurines and small pottery. In 2019, a move from the East Coast to Arizona left her without a proper studio to continue doing ceramics in. She took the move as an opportunity to start drawing, painting and creating digital art.  Her main goal with her art is simple; to make people smile. In addition to drawing and painting, Diana enjoys reading, road cycling, fiber arts and spending time with her husband and house full of rescue animals in their home in Marana, AZ.

Inktuce is a Tucson-based artist and creator of unique, colorful characters. They dabble in many different mediums including oil and acrylic painting, digital illustration, collage, and block printing. Inktuce may be your neighbor, or even your closest friend.
